The neurologist wouldn’t call what I had a stroke, but I think I did, based on a drooping eyelid, the inability to follow my Zumba instructor for a few months, and problems recalling names and words, which was still happening a year later. Everything is clearing up now (except for the drooping eyelid) since I started taking these plasmologens. I feel like myself again! I’m no longer at a loss for words! No longer forgetting names!

On the second day of use, I awoke with face, lips, tongue and throat completely numb, as well as my fingertips. These are symptoms of PSP or Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning, usually causes by toxin in the algae consumed by the mollusks, in this case Hokkaido Scallops. I wrote to DAIWA to ask about their regulation. I received a quick response, including a refund and a request for the serial number so that they can investigate further. I do not have a shellfish allergy. I may just have a low tolerance for any algae toxin. Supplements are not government regulated and it’s important to notice changes in your health while taking them. I discontinued use.
